Today, Ken, the chairperson from D’Sign Arts meet Mark Cooper, councillor from Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council to show our appreciation for helping organise rehearsal space for special video production.
Mark is a fantastic supporter of the Deaf Community and recently had his motion passes to make Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council a deaf-friendly council area with more signing events, all council venues having at least one signer in BSL and ISL and more activity’s catering for deaf children and young people.
He hopes to help support D’Sign more in the future and is excited to have been able to help us as a deaf arts charity so far.
